What is The Solution Card™?
The Solution Card is a healthcare discount card created to help you manage the spiraling costs of healthcare. It serves as your CHS Member ID. When you use it, you'll receive, on the spot, meaningful discounts (often over 50%) on healthcare services and products thereby reducing your out-of-pocket expenses. The Solutions Card covers thousands of prescription medications including both branded and generics.
Who can use the Card?
Your Solution Card membership covers you, your spouse and any children living with you up to the age of 21 (or until age 23 if child is a full-time student).
Are there any restrictions?
- No, you can go to your pharmacy as many times as you need
- No annual maximums or minimums
- No deductibles
Will I always get the best price using the Card?
Yes. If a provider within our network is offering a "special" price, you will always have the opportunity to purchase the item or service at this lower price.
What if my healthcare provider is not in the network?
We welcome healthcare provider referrals from our Members. If you would like to refer a healthcare provider to us, simple call our Customer Service Department at 1-866-375-7591 and provide us the provider's name, address and phone number.
Is the Card an insurance plan?
No. CHS does not offer insurance and our products are not insurance products. We offer a healthcare discount program. Our Card provides pre-negotiated discounts to our Members. There are no claims forms to be completed, no waiting periods, no deductibles and no exclusions for pre-existing conditions. You pay only for the services you need - at a significant discount!
I have health insurance, can I still use the Card?
Yes. Many procedures and services for which discounts are available with the Card are not covered under standard health insurance plans. Therefore, your Card is a valuable supplement to existing health insurance coverage.
Can visitors to the United States qualify for the Card?
Yes. Just sign-up right here, online.
Will CHS keep my medical information private?
Yes. CHS does not maintain any medical record information.
My insurance pays for part of my prescriptions. Can I still use the Card for my co-payment?
No. The Solution Card does not provide a discount against a co-payment.
